We're getting there.

Thanks for your continuing patience. We're feeling our way through the whole website lark, and thankfully now have someone on board who knows what he's doing (not me, unfortunately).

Burns Night

Join us for an evening of Scottish food as we celebrate Burns Night! If you have not received the details by email and would like to attend, do let us know!

Date:
Tuesday, 24 January, 2012 - 19:30

The House of Silk

The Scotland Yard Jack-in-Office will be on BBC Radio Scotland's Book Cafe this afternoon from 1pm to review Anthony Horowitz' new Sherlock Holmes novel.
Tune in and laugh as he chokes in embarrassed silence and falls off his chair.

It will be worth it. Eventually.

Continuing apologies for those coming to us hoping to be thrilled, amused and entertained with hundreds of pages of Holmesian shenanigans. We are very aware of our shortcomings, and plead for your dcontinuing patience as we try and get this £"&))+?** website operational.
In the meantime, find us on Facebook as the Sherlock Holmes Society of Scotland.

The weather outside is frightful.......so let's talk about Christmas!

Plans for Christmas!

Our Next Film Night

Once again come along and bring your favourite DVDs (Holmesian, of course).

Date:
Monday, 15 August, 2011 - 18:30

July Film Night

Despite initial murmurings that the glorious weather was more suitable for an evening in a beer garden, the Society's most recent film night was a great success. The evening got off to strong start with the presence of both beer and wine glasses, and refreshments were further supplemented by home-made scones and fresh strawberries.
